Genesys Hiring Associate Software Engineer

Job description:

Genesys is pivotal for developing interaction processing system. This team is responsible for design and development of many features and micro services, needed for customer experience. Multi-Cloud developer responsibilities are: Design, prototype, develop and maintain both new as well as existing functionalities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1)Analyzing the product requirements

2)Design and develop new product features within estimated plans for development.

3)Provide inputs to the architecture of new modules and components.

4)Provide estimations of work effort for requirements

5)Define and manage the build.

6)Implement and unit test developed features.

7)Review design and code of peers

8)Work with QA to define a test plan and help them understanding the features.

9)Reproduce and fix defects.

10)Automate unit test cases for the newly developed features with Continuous Integration (CI) framework.

11)Contribute to White-Box Testing

12)Become source of innovative features/solutions to enhance our core business.

Skills & Tools

1)Good analytical, debugging and communication skills.

2)Exposure to C/C++ or Java or UI or Python or Javascript/NodeJs  

3)Good understanding of OOPS is a MUST along with exposure to Object Oriented Design (OOD) & Analysis

4)Good understanding of networking concepts and hands on experience on socket programming.

5)Knowledge about VoIP technologies (like SIP/RTP/RTCP) would be an added advantage.

6)Well versed with multithreading concepts/programming & exposure to debugging tools/techniques for profiling C++ or Java)

7)Exposure to web-based applications would be added advantage.

8)Familiarity with formal design processes would be an added advantage.

9)Exposure to Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS etc. and Microservices architecture.

Eligibility Criteria:

1)Should be a graduate in ECE, CSE or IT stream of engineering

2)Year of Passing: 2018 to 2023
