Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer with excellent critical thinking skills and experience in back-end development. The successful candidate should have a strong background in Node.js, with experience in writing unit tests in Jest and Postman API tests.
The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, and be able to quickly grasp and learn new skills as needed by the project.
Responsibilities:
1)Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable back-end applications using Node.js.
2)Write unit tests in Jest and Postman API tests to ensure code quality.
3)Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to identify and address project requirements.
4)Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery.
5)Proactively identify and resolve any issues or blockers that may arise during the development process.
6)Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and team members.
7)Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
8)Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Skills Required:
1)Proven experience working as a Node.js Developer.
2)Strong experience with back-end technologies such as NestJS, MySQL 8.0, Rest API, and async communication using pub/sub.
3)Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest and Postman API testing.
4)Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
