The Software Engineer-I designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
Job Responsibilities:
1)Learns and understands hardware and software systems and platforms
Provides software development support
2)Writes code for portions of an application
3)Works closely with and learns from the engineering team
4)Applies techniques and methods learned in prior courses
5)Assists in carrying out tasks requiring adherence to prescribed methods of design
6)Should learn basic programming while working in a team
7)Uses current programming languages and technologies to write code.
Required Skills:
1)Minimal professional software engineering experience
2)Strong desire to program software in the real world
3)Proficient in one or more programming languages.
