About Team and the Role
Origin Health is on the lookout for an innovative and driven Software engineer who will help ensure our AI meets the highest quality standards. Your primary goal will be to deliver solutions that support and optimize our AI system. An individual with excellent problem-solving skills who has proficient knowledge of software systems and programming languages will enhance our team and provide integral support to our operations.
What will you do?
1)Engineering: Understand software requirements from clinical collaborators and internal teams (Product, R&D, Data Engineering, Clinical, Software) to design and engineer various internal tools.
2)Software Development: Develop, deploy, and maintain a high-quality codebase (behavioral-driven design and domain-driven design) with proper testing and re-usability.
3)Data Management: Implement and maintain databases and prepare entity relationship diagrams.
Who are we looking for?
• 1+ years of experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript/Typescript.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Typescript for front-end development. Having experience in any of the modern Javascript frontend frameworks is preferred, such as React, Vue, and Svelte.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
• Understanding and knowledge in: Git and Git Workflow, Containerization (preferably Docker), CI/CD , Cloud provider (preferably AWS/Azure), Agile software development methodologies
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other engineers.
