About the role:
Mode of Internship: Hybrid (In Office + Remote)
We are currently operating remotely only, however, this may change in the future.
This is for a full-stack developer intern role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solutioning and implementing the backend architecture, and/or frontend UI + UX of the products optionlogy is working on. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. A major part of this would be working on NodeJs, Golang, and Next JS. The work will overlap with analytics about options trading and strategies thereof. We are seeking someone to join our team immediately. You will be working on our core services within the product team.
Responsibilities:
- Create APIs and implementation of software architecture using Go Lang, NodeJS, and/or Rust.
- Create distributed computing systems that can process large amounts of information parallelly within short periods
- Work with the team to design and create architecture & implementations of features & enhancements in the product
- Implement clean, performant, and dynamic frontend UI and UX in Next JS
- Discover and fix programming bugs
- Understand performance and reliability issues and solve them with the team
- Design scalable, testable code
- Collaborate with team members & other people in the organization to understand customer needs and help create the best possible experience for traders.
Skills:
- Development experience with programming languages - Object Oriented languages such as Golang, C++, etc, NodeJS, NextJS
- Hands on experience in using databases such as MongoDB and SQL in programs, as well as natively
- Understanding of web architectures, HTTP requests, sockets & server architecture
- Knowledge & passion for trading & stock market
Preferred Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing systems
- Web development experience in object-oriented languages like GoLang, C++, Java, etc
- UI and UX implementation skills and frontend development
- Basic mathematical and statistical skills
- REST APIs, Websockets, Socket.IO
- Comfortable working in flexible team sizes and taking work ownership
Stipend: 40k per month
Eligibility Criteria:
1)Currently in last year or have completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or related field
