McAfee is seeking a SDET to work on a Windows anti-malware software solution. In this position, you will work with experienced developers and security researchers to understand, validate, design automation, and deliver engineering solutions to address the problems in today’s security landscape.
About Role:
- Develop and adhere to company quality assurance principles and create effective testing procedures.
- Diagnose, document, and correct quality complaints and issues.
- Identify and execute training needs for the entire company.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze system requirements and ensure software quality goals are met throughout the product life cycle.
- Ensure the product is secure, stable, and reliable by automating functional and non-functional tests.
- Perform code reviews and white box testing to uncover defects early and participate fully in Agile team activities.
- Proactively identify and communicate roadblocks, evaluate them, and suggest alternatives.
Requirements:
- Experience with Python and knowledge of an object-oriented programming language like C++.
- Expert knowledge of QA methods, tools, and testing practices, with working knowledge of test and defect management tools like QAC and Bugzilla.
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, time-management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Experience performing thorough functional, regression, and non-functional testing like performance and soak.
- GenAI knowledge is an added advantage, along with experience using performance tools, SDK white box testing, and data centers and VM management.
