McAfee Technology Pathfinding Group part of OCTO is chartered to build new products and services for McAfee Consumer Business. Anchored in design thinking, the group brings to life novel consumer usages with deep technological foundations. The new products could be in core security and privacy protection, or adjacent areas such as data protection, as well as those that open new product portfolio opportunities for McAfee across PC, Web, mobile, Smart Home, Wearable, IOT devices & apps.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop and test PoCs and products based on different platforms and tech stacks – Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, Web, Browser.
- Performance testing and benchmarking of Web Applications, ML models.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of OS architecture, web application architectures, and web services.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like C/C++, Golang, Python, JavaScript, and databases (SQL/NoSQL/Big Data) is desirable.
- Knowledge of performance testing, benchmarking, and software engineering design principles is essential.
- Experience with neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, and security/privacy frameworks is a plus.
