Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Level Data Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge data engineering technologies, including Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and Azure. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn, develop technical skills, and contribute to the development of large-scale data solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities

- Technology Familiarity: Learn about the various technologies and tools used within the data engineering team, including Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and Azure DevOps.
- Progressive Independence: Initially, you will work under general guidance, with the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility and handle tasks independently.
- Collaborative Environment: Work effectively as part of a distributed global team, collaborating with colleagues across different time zones and locations.
Key Requirements:
Must have :
- T-SQL Expertise: Proficiency in T-SQL (highest priority) to manage and manipulate large datasets efficiently.
- Programming Knowledge: Strong skills in Python and familiarity Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of .NET, Powershell Scripting, Version Control systems will be an added advantage.
- Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure is a plus, especially in data engineering context.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data engineering processes.
- Technical Foundation: A basic understanding of data engineering concepts, with a willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Data Solutions: Prior exposure to large-scale data implementations, especially in cloud environments, is a plus.
